Bangalore was my perfect place. Weekend visits to coorg , family time and work city life in bangalore.Sounded perfect! Only, I moved back to India with a job offer from Bombay. With unemployment from the last few months breaking me every now and then, I considered it. While in Newyork, I was living in one of the most sought out cities in the world, but I was nagge dby unemployment.Bombay calling was recieved well by a lot of people I knew. It's the Newyork of India, the city that never sleeps, city for young, well ,to sum it up..Maximum city! I could'nt wait to get here, to be free from unemployment,to finally unpack for good, to be in India, to start off.... I left NYC knowing things were going ot change forever and I literally kissed it goodbye. Arriving in Bombay I breathed a breath of fresh air in the humid air that hung above me, i felt a rush...that new start. The welcoming sunset view from the plane casting a silver lined skyscape, the hunt for the perfect charming house, to learn to speak hindi, to begin working..I was fuelled! In Bombay I did not rest.Every corner store had something to peep in for, every vendor on my street I greeted, every sale or exhibition I sought after, every opportunity to show a friend around was awaited, every chance to go to town was pounced upon, every dance class was a blessing and every party was inebriating.I did not curse the monsoon flood, I enjoyed the glaring music of ganesh chaturthi and navarathri, moved to dandiya beats, longed and loved the pleasant mild winter, and made it through sultry summers with zest. A year and 3 months on Banaglore is calling and I dont want to listen. I think of coorg, my heart belongs there, my parents , they need me most now and so I made my move. I know I will love every city I live in making it mny own, and bangalore will be mine too.Only, for now I am wallowing in Bombay Blues...!!!!
